A romantic stroll in the heart of the Latin Quarter

The advantage with Paris is that we find exceptional sites on almost every street corner. From the romantic Hôtel de l'Espérance , in the 5th arrondissement, it is easy to plan an itinerary for a romantic stroll.

The Saint-Michel fountain

Let's begin our romantic getaway on the banks of the Seine, facing the Île de la Cité. At the very end of Boulevard Saint-Michel is the imposing and majestic Saint-Michel fountain . Representing the struggle of good against evil, is the ideal spot for a romantic selfie. Near the Luxembourg Gardens, it also allows you to follow in the footsteps of the young rebellious students of May 68.

The René Viviani square

Let's stay on the banks of the Seine, towards the René Viviani square , near the Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre church. This small green space is ideal for romantic walks and short romantic breaks. You can then sit in the shade of the oldest tree in Paris , a locust tree planted in 1601. From here, you will have a magnificent view of Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral.

Place de la Contrescarpe and rue Mouffetard

Let's take the road again towards the Hôtel de l'Espérance. You will pass in front of the Pantheon, before going to Place de la Contrescarpe via the rue Mouffetard . You will immediately be immersed in picturesque Paris, on a street where the restaurants, shops and bars are so friendly that all the students from the Latin Quarter meet there every day. You will notice the paved floor dating from the Middle Ages.

The Great Mosque of Paris

Let's continue towards the Jardin des Plantes, to the Grand Mosque of Paris . This is the ideal place to take a romantic and relaxing break. You can admire the architecture and minaret of this religious building, before treating yourself to a romantic hammam , or a little treat in the mosque's tea room.
